Designing, Installing, and Commissioning an Electronic Continuing Medical Education System at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences Integrated with National CME System

Electronic learning has changed the continuing medical education (CME) methods. For first time, we aim to design, install, and launch an electronic CME (e-CME) system at our university, integrate it with National Continuing Medical Education Center of Ministry Health, determine its effects on midwives’ knowledge problem-solving skills in postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), their satisfaction content attitude toward e-CME method. First, designed installed management (LMS) integrated national system. In second phase, by census, applied 32 midwives through a quasiexperimental single-group pretest-posttest design. So, used all five sessions completed research tools such as PPH knowledge, solving problems, content, before after these sessions. Data were analyzed using SPSS-16 software paired t-test, Wilcoxon, Friedman’s, Pearson’s tests 95% confidence level. The levels both significantly improved ( p < 0.05 ). total attitudes e-learning for most participants positive intervention. After intervention, there was high level (4.04 ± 0.16) among participating midwives. results successful use lead achievement university’s mission education.
